Leighton Contractors Indonesia is an operating division of Leighton International Limited. It is an important part of a company that spans the large area between Indonesia and the Arabian Gulf countries and includes operations in Malaysia, Singapore and India. In line with Leighton International Limited overall growth Strategy, Leighton Contractors Indonesia has strongly grown its mining operations and currently we have and immediate position requirement in the organisation.

LCI are actively recruiting for a number of positions in the Plant and Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Field (HSE). To fulfil positions in our expanding Mining & Civil based Projects predominantly in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Positions currently required to be filled are listed below:

HSE Manager – Operational
HSE Superintendent (Project & Divisional based)
HSE Supervisor (Project based)
HSE Officer (Project based)

Responsibliities, Required Skill and Qualifications:

HSE Manager – Operational & HSE Superintendent positions

• Possess good working knowledge & experience in developing, implementing & managing HSE Management Systems in compliance with Corporate & International Standards (OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 requirements).
• The responsibilities would involve coordinating a team of Operational/Project HSE personnel to effectively implement & monitor performance against LCI HSE Management System requirements as well as reporting to senior management on performance.
• Review & update Project HSE Plans, Procedures, JSEA's, conduct HSE Audits, and lead in internal incident investigations.
• Possess formal qualifications in the OHS and or Environmental Field (Diploma or Degree).
• Good computer literacy skills (Good command of MS Office Application).
• Good command of the English language (written & oral).
• Should have a minimum of 5 years working HSE experience within mining, construction or heavy industry.

HSE Supervisor & Officer positions

• Possess reasonable working knowledge & experience with implementing & monitoring HSE Management System requirements in compliance with Corporate & International Standards (OHSAS 18001 & ISO 140001 requirements).
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, participate on audits & incident investigations, compile & review JSEA's, conduct inductions & training, and report to Project HSE Supt. and Project Managers on performance.
• Possess some level of formal training in the HSE field (diploma or certificates).
• Good basic computer literacy skills (MS Office Applications).
• Good command of the English language (written & oral).
• Have a minimum of 2 years working HSE experience within the mining, construction or heavy industry.
